About Shannon

Initially, meeting with Shannon made us very excited about the possibility of working together. She was professional, thoughtful, and came prepared with a clear plan and goals for our baby. She asked insightful, relevant questions that showed both her experience and genuine care. From the start, she was incredibly sweet and tender with our baby, which immediately put us at ease. On her first night with us, Shannon was attentive and nurturing—comforting our son through singing, rocking, and holding him. She also did a great job communicating her methods and explaining the reasoning behind them, which made me feel extremely comfortable and confident in her care. However, when our scheduling needs changed, things became more challenging. While Shannon was initially agreeable to the adjustments, she ultimately decided at the last minute to cancel our contract. This left our family in a very difficult position without childcare. To her credit, she made an effort to be available and kept the lines of communication open. Overall, Shannon is clearly caring, knowledgeable, and dedicated to the families she works with. If not for the scheduling challenges, we would have absolutely continued working with her.
