My name is Freda and I’m 83 years old. My son insisted that I get somebody to help me out since I live alone. I was upset about it because I felt like I can take care of myself! I’ve always taken care of myself, but recently I’ve had some health setbacks. When I met Rebecca, she was so nice and we started working on house projects together and started gardening and planting flowers, watering the yard. She also takes me grocery shopping, and she does all the vacuuming and floors. It’s so nice to have someone make me dinner and we’ve had some really nice meals together. That’s one of my favorite things. One of the things she bugs me about is water – drink, drink, drink, water! And that’s a really good thing. I’ve had an operation, but I still have chronic back pain and one of my favorite things is she gives me back massages and puts pain relieving ointment on and has me sit with a heating pad. That makes me feel really good. I can’t tell you. Also she’s always happy! I really like that. She’s pleasant to be around!
