About Evonne

Warm, active mom of two (ages 4 and 8), raised hands-on from infancy: feeding, sleep routines and sleep training, potty training, homework help, and homeschooling. Former Special Education Instructional Aide with Pasadena Unified, supporting students with autism, ADHD, and dyslexia in math, reading, and writing. Using each child's interests to make learning fun is my favorite part. Holds a BFA, plus AMI Montessori 3-6 Assistant, Pediatric First Aid/CPR, and Positive Discipline Parent Educator certifications. Completed online sleep training courses through the National Sleep Foundation, and currently taking ECE courses at Pasadena City College. Love staying active with kids: biking (and teaching kids to ride), tennis, soccer, badminton, snowboarding, yoga, and hikes. Tidy and organized at home. Montessori-inspired belief: children thrive with safety, consistent routines, and hands-on learning. Calm, patient, nurturing, and respectful of each family's parenting style.
