About Elizabeth

I'm a Pasadena mom and a substitute teacher with Pasadena Unified School District (PUSD). Much of my teaching experience has been in preschool, TK, and kindergarten. I have a teaching degree in elementary education with a focus on early childhood development. I'd describe myself as bubbly, creative, and deeply empathetic. I love getting down on a childs eye level and entering their little world. I create a safe, nurturing environment with little to no screentime as they learn best through real-world experiences, meaningful interactions, hands-on experiences, and human connection. I have experience using baby sign language, which used in raising my own daughter. I found it incredibly helpful before she could speak. I enjoy integrating books, music, and age-appropriate activities to their everyday play. I live by the belief that trust is the foundation of everything. When caring for someone's child, building trust with both the child and parents is essential.
