About Adriana

Hi! I am a freshman at CU from Richmond, VA, and I will be spending the month of July in Colorado! I first discovered a love for working with children at 13 when I began babysitting. Following my sophomore year of high school, I worked two summers as a camp counselor for all ages, supervising groups and activities, and ensuring safety and inclusion. When working with kids, I strive to create a supportive and encouraging environment while maintaining structure and boundaries through patience, enthusiasm, and responsibility. I love keeping kids engaged through outdoor/indoor activity or simply being a person they can talk to. Throughout my experience, I have recognized the power of presence, bringing a sincere level of attention and excitement each day. I understand the importance of having someone that parents feel confident leaving their kids with, and I take that responsibility seriously.
