While winter may bring cold temperatures, snowy days and a resounding stillness to the Greater Yellowstone Ecosystem, it is also undoubtedly one of the most exciting seasons to go on a wildlife safari. Yellowstone in winter is an extreme, exclusive place. Of the 300 miles of road in the Park, only 50 miles are open to regular vehicles between the months of November to April. A full-day winter tour with Yellowstone Safari Co. focuses on this region, the spectacular Northern Range between Mammoth Hot Springs and Cooke City, Montana, where some of the best wildlife viewing in North American can be found. On our Secret Food Tour: Austin, let our guides and your stomach lead you through the busy streets of Downtown Austin for an urban gastronomy experience in the central and historic area of the live music capital of the world. Little ones will explore big jobs. Campers will try out different careers through role play, stations, crafts, and hands-on activities. Think mini doctor, vet, chef, builder, artist, and more. It’s a fun confidence booster and sparks imagination.

A royal week of imaginative play and adventure. Campers will design crowns and shields, build castles, go on royal quests, and enjoy princess and knight-themed crafts, games, and storytime. As an extra touch of magic, a princess or prince will be visiting each day.

This is a self drive activity, meaning you would need to handle your own transportation to and from our location. Dinner reservations start at 8:00pm for this activity, and included in your booking is a 3-course meal at Latitude 65. Alcohol is not included, but is available for purchase, as are additional add ons and appetizers.  After dinner, you can relax in our lounge space and utilize our free wi-fi while you wait for the Aurora Borealis to make an appearance. At 10pm our staff hold a nightly presentation discussing the science and folklore behind the northern lights, which is a free presentation.  When the aurora makes an appearance, our staff will inform you where to look! We also offer additional photography sessions at $60 per person.  The yurt closes at 2:00am, which is when you would need to depart the property.
