This hands-on 16-week course is an advanced cooking program designed for young chefs who are ready to take their skills to the next level. Students will step into the world of a 5-star kitchen, learning essential techniques such as plating, knife skills, sautéing, and roasting. Eva Jospin Paper Relief: In this lesson students will be learning all about the french sculptor, Eva Jospin. Known for her cardboard creations of architecture and nature, Jospin creates captivating relief with intricate detail. Students will mimic this effect with a cardboard paper relief of a wooded forest. This weekly 2-hour class is a great option for kids looking to move ahead with their artistic talents. Students can choose to come on Tuesdays, or Thursdays, or both! Whatever works best for your schedule. The students are given more independence and freedom to be creative with the projects, and they have more autonomy in how their projects go. Projects often run for 3-4 weeks to give students the extra time to create a really impressive piece. Recommended for ages 10-16.
