I have loved and found satisfaction providing care to seniors for over 20 years. Also, I truly enjoy the challenges and benefits of working with dementia clients. I like to develop a friendship with them and help their families manage the challenging behaviors. I help develop strategies to calm and de-escalate when there is frustration and agitation. Additionally, I'm happy to act as a resource for the family whenever I can. I'd describe my personality as patient, loving and fun. I like caring for seniors because I have always enjoyed learning about their history and finding ways that improve the quality of their lives. I'm looking for a job that that supports families in providing the best quality of life for their loved one. I started caring for seniors when people in my family began needing extra help.
