Hi- I am a 55-year-old woman living in North Reading. I have recently retired after 25 years of working as a Sr. Business Partner in healthcare Human Resources. I started my care for the elderly 4 years ago caring for a 94-year-old man in his home in Reading. My days with him would involve helping him with his laundry, bringing him to all of his medical appointments, light housekeeping, cooking meals, grocery shopping, errands, giving him his medication's and just being a source or companionship. I currently am doing the same "work" for a 90-year-old woman in North Andover just 6 hours per week and a 83-year-old woman in Methuen 3 hours a week. Wendy has been my soon-to-be 90 year old mom's caregiver for several months.
