About Vera

I started working with kids at a Girl Scout resident camp I attended as a camper. I did two summers of counselor-in-training programs and a short internship. Then this summer I was hired as a unit counselor, who is in charge of a single program for a week or two at a time. I'm looking for a job for during the school year, where I can have more of a say over my hours in order to work around my school schedule. I'd also appreciate something close by since I don't have reliable transportation in the winter. My roommates described my personality as dependable, intelligent, assertive, funny, and organized. I really enjoy crafts and the woods. So I'll embroider, crochet, sketch, or paint in my down time. If I can, I try to take a bike ride or frolick in the woods. I love hiking, climbing trees, and rock climbing, but I don't get to do those things as often as I'd like. I also really enjoy theater from the stage crew side of things, and did that all of high school.
