About Vanessa

My family hired Vanessa as part of a team of caregivers providing elder care for our parents in my home; father with Alzheimer's and mother with a stroke history limiting her mobility and at times her cognition. Our father passed away about a year ago and Vanessa continued caring for our mom for another year. My mom's health took a major turn for the better a few months ago, in large part because of the exceptional care she has received during a time when her health reflected the stress and burden of dealing with a spouse with Alzheimer's and all that does to a family. Vanessa has shown up for my family. She is reliable, professional, pro-active about assessing needs, going beyond the regular to do list and always doing more! Vanessa would do my mom's hair up and help her with makeup/jewelry, giving her such a lift and sense of dignity. That is huge. People praise me for moving my parents into my family's home, and I counter them every time to clarify that the only reason I can pull it off is because of Vanessa and the amazing women that have cared for my parents better than I ever could have and allowed me to work, allowed me to have time with my own family, etc. I would highly recommend Vanessa to anyone and would certainly hire her again.
