About Valynsia

I'm a loving, dependable, and empathetic childcare provider with 12+ years of nannying experience caring for children from infancy through adolescence, including overnight care. As the oldest of six children and one of 12 grandchildren, caring for children has always been close to my heart. I hold a BS in Sports Medicine with a minor in Human Development from Howard University and a Master of Public Health from The George Washington University. My background includes five years as a Medical Assistant in OB/GYN and dermatology, clinical research experience, and CPR certification. I enjoy preparing meals, creating fun and educational activities, supporting developmental milestones, and transporting children to extracurricular activities. I value open communication, flexibility, and building trusting bonds with families. My goal is to be a loving, trusted extension of your village! In my free time, I enjoy reading, movies, great food, family, friends, and exploring with my dog Rhu.
