About Trayvon

I'm a compassionate and patient youth care professional with experience supporting young people through challenging moments. I enjoy building trust, creating a safe and welcoming environment, and helping kids recognize their strengths and grow in confidence. I'm certified in Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) and Management of Aggressive Behavior (MOAB), and I use those skills to respond calmly, respectfully, and consistently. I like working with kids because I enjoy building genuine connections and helping kids feel safe, understood, and confident in who they are. I'm looking for a secondary role that's relationship based and purposeful. I began working with children at an emergency shelter, supporting youth and coordinating with DCF when appropriate. STTAR program (Specialized Trauma-Informed Treatment, Assessment and Reunification), providing structured, trauma-informed support to young people.
