About Tena

Fostering a child's growth and development is my true passion. With much over five years of experience, both through my own children and those of friends and family, I bring a patient, calm, and creative approach to childcare. I hold a graduate degree with specialized coursework in Early Child Development, and I am a Certified Teacher. My goal is to keep the children in my care, safe and happy in their environment the same I do with my own three children. I love engaging children through outdoor sports, board games, and educational puzzles. Because I am lighthearted and enjoy being silly, I find that getting down on the floor to play is the best way to show children I am fully present. I am very comfortable enforcing your household rules and am happy to assist with light housekeeping or crafts. I prioritize clear communication, whether through daily verbal updates or your preferred method. I look forward to bringing my heart and energy into your home to help your family thrive.
