About Teckla

Hi! My name is Teckla and I have over 12 years of childcare experience. I have taken care of infants to middle school ages for private families. Professionally, I have worked at summer camps and after school STEM programs. I was also a teacher in the Peace Corps where I taught elementary school children English. I know how important it is to give children tailored and interactive care. I would love to connect to see if my skills are a match for you and your kids! I am currently a grad student at CUNY QCollege get my masters in Library Sciences. I'd describe my personality as fun, flexible, and caring! I like working with kids because I care about being a part of their developmental journey! I started working with kids when I was in middle school babysitting children in my neighborhood and it's been something I've love doing ever since! In my spare time, I like to play board games, play dungeons and dragons, read, and hang out with friends!
