About Talia

Hello! My name is Talia and I am a Sophomore at AU. I have worked as a Lead Teacher at a private pre-school for the past 2 years. In high school, I also served as a teachers aid, and during the summer I worked as a camp counselor for children ages 6-13. I love working with kids of all ages but have the most formal experience with pre-k and elementary ages. My favorite activities include crafting, going outside, and building puzzles! I'd describe my personality as friendly, confident, and expressive. I started working with kids when I was about 13 as a camp counselor, which led me to work with students at school and then into formal childcare working at a daycare/preschool since I was 17. In my spare time, I am a full time student at AU, studying Business. I also run a photography business and I love painting murals around my community! My skills include patience, cleanliness, and regulating big emotions.
