About Sylvia

I'm a compassionate, dependable, and nurturing childcare professional with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and hands-on experience working with children from infancy through school age. I'm especially passionate about infants and early childhood, and I believe the early years are an important foundation for a child's emotional, social, and developmental growth. My experience as a Registered Behavioral Technician gave me the opportunity to work with children with autism ages 1-8, where I learned the importance of patience, consistency, emotional regulation, and individualized care. I also worked as a research assistant in an infant lab, where I gained a deeper understanding of attachment, parent-child relationships, and children's emotional needs. I bring patience, attentiveness, calmness, and genuine care to every child I care for and genuinely enjoy being part of their growth and learning experiences.
