About Summer

I've been babysitting my little cousins since I was 14, and started babysitting other kids when I was 16. I nannied a 3-year-old a few days a week during one summer, and was an on call babysitter for a family with a 6-year-old and 12-year-old, as well as a family with a 1-year-old and 4-year-old. I also nannied for a family through care. com one summer during college I worked at a childcare center last summer, and am experienced working with many ages ranging from infants to 12-year-olds. I've also taught dance to young kids for two years. I have experiencing in tutoring, and I am CPR certified. I have a car and a clean driving record. I love teaching kids and watching them learn new things, and of course I love having fun with them. Kids truly have an infectious energy or positivity that make the days of those around them brighter. I'm looking for a relatively long term position while I'm waiting to start grad school next summer, and possibly while I'm in grad school.
