About Sophia
Experience: 10 yrs
Hi I'm Soph! I'm currently working as a weekday sitter in Manhattan and would LOVE to find a Weekend position long term. I grew up in the Dominican Republic as an older sister who was expected to do many household tasks, and I started taking care of children since I was 13. Professionally I've been a sitter/nanny for 5+ years now. I would describe my personality as Extroverted, Kind, Reliable, and Emotionally Mature. I am a native English/Spanish speaker and fluent in French. I've studied both art and theatre, in college and grad school. I'm more than happy to teach and use my artistic skills in my childcare!
Most recent review
Sophia is mature and accountable, an excellent communicator. Just what a parent wants. With kids she is loving, kind, fun! They also know they are in good care— her steady trustworthiness keeps them at ease while they delight in her company.
