About Sonya

Hello, my name is Sonya. I'm a student at North Seattle College completing an AAS in Early Childhood Education this August! I decided to further my knowledge in ECE and really discovered my passion for working with children during my 12-week training program at Tomorrow's Hope (a respected Daycare in Everett), where I was employed before starting school full-time. I'm looking forward to applying my experience and my knowledge of child-led/inquisitive-led learning that I have acquired during my associates degree to provide a developmentally age-appropriate and engaging experience for your family! Some of my favorite activities to do with children are; reading, building structures, engaging in sensory play, singing silly songs, spending time outdoors, and practicing process art. I have reliable transportation with a clean driving record and near full coverage insurance. I have experience with all ages from my time working/volunteering with daycare centers and from my own son!
