Shirley is truly an exceptional nanny, and we feel incredibly lucky to have had her care for our son. She has been taking care of our 2-year-old, and from the very beginning, she has been reliable, punctual, trustworthy, kind, communicative, and incredibly easy to work with. She is also such a wonderful presence in our home — thoughtful, respectful, and someone we genuinely enjoy having around. Most importantly, our son absolutely adores Shirley. They have developed an incredible bond, and it is so clear how much she genuinely loves children. Shirley has a natural ability to connect with kids, understand their needs, and make them feel safe, loved, and encouraged. You can tell that caring for children isn't simply a job for her — it is something she is truly passionate about and deeply committed to. One of the things we have appreciated most is how invested Shirley is in our son's development. She doesn't just keep him entertained; she actively looks for ways to help him learn and grow. She has taught him Spanish, worked with him on spelling, and continually encourages his curiosity and development in age-appropriate ways. She takes such pride in seeing him learn new things and become more independent. As parents, there is no greater gift than knowing your child is safe, happy, loved, and thriving while you're away.
