About Shellie

For over 20 years I've been passionate about nurturing children's growth and development. I was a nanny for a set of twin sisters for 10 yrs . They were an amazing family to work for and I am still in contact with them today. I then started my career as a Montessori teacher. I've been teaching for 22 years for children 2 1/2 - 6 nurturing, guiding, educating, and partnering with families. On a personal note, I am a mother of two older children 21 and 15. I also have two fur babies that I absolutely adore. I am active, I love to be outdoors, creative, and an excellent communicator. I have always loved working with children. It truly is my life's calling. I look forward to supporting the children and parents and their vision for how they would like their children raised and to help their home run smoothly.

Shellie has been an absolute blessing to our family, and we truly cannot recommend her highly enough. From the moment she became part of our lives, she cared for M. with so much love, patience, and intention. She didn't just watch her—she invested in her. Every day was filled with learning, adventure, creativity, and opportunities to explore the world. We watched Madi grow tremendously this summer, becoming more confident, curious, kind, and independent, and we know Shellie played a huge role in that. As parents, there is no greater gift than knowing your child is loved and cared for as if they were her own. Shellie gave us that peace of mind every single day. She was dependable, thoughtful, communicative, and always went above and beyond in ways we never expected. One of the sweetest things she did was at the end of the summer. She surprised us with a beautiful book filled with photos from all of Madi's adventures throughout the season. It captured so many special memories that we will treasure forever. It was such a thoughtful, heartfelt gift and perfectly reflects the kind of person she is. We are so grateful for everything Shellie has done for our family. She gave Madi the most incredible summer, and she became such a special part of our lives. We will miss having her in our home each week and sincerely hope to keep in touch. Any family would be incredibly lucky to have her.
