I have been providing care for the disabled and elderly for over 7 years. I enjoy being able to help others while allowing them to live in the comfort of their own home. I love animals as I grew up on a farm and was in 4-h for 9 years. I have a dog of my own who is like my kid. I have worked in nursing homes and I will say I would much rather work one on one (or one on two if it is a couple) in the clients home as they can be on their own schedule and I have the time to actually put in the effort and am able to build a relationship with them to make them feel comfortable and happy as well as safe in their own home.
