About Shauna

My name is Shauna, and I am a mother of three children, ages 20, 19 and 16. I have over 16 years of hands-on experience homeschooling and caring for children of all ages. Prior to homeschooling, I worked as an LPN, supporting adults with developmental disabilities. This experience has given me the tools to provide a safe, caring, and supportive environment for children. I enjoy spending time outdoors and I believe nature play is an important part of healthy development. I also enjoy gardening, baking, and cooking with children, and am happy to make nutritious meals, snacks, or even healthy homemade baby food. Organization is one of my strengths and I love to help families maintain orderly homes, routines, and create calm supportive home environments. I take pride in being dependable and respectful of each family's parenting style, and I look forward to the opportunity to support your children as they grow!
