Hi! I am a single mother and home design professional seeking a caretaking and companionship position with a family for care of their elders. I would love to provide empathetic listening, daily routine support, and home organization help, as well as errands and transportation. I'm open to a wide range of needs and activities. In a culture where elders are usually overlooked, I love to discover who an elder is on their own terms and show them the respect they deserve. While I do not have professional experience caring for seniors, I have loved caring for my own elder relatives, volunteering at senior homes for companionship, and forming meaningful relationships with elders. In my spare time, I like to read books with my young child, tend my garden, and explore the foothills on hikes. One thing you should know about me is I am looking for a mid-term arrangement, ideally 6 months in length.
