About Shannon
Experience: 10 yrs
Nurturing a child's development and watching them reach new milestones is my greatest passion. With 10 years of experience caring for children ranging from infants to early elementary I bring a patient, calm, and creative approach to every family I support. I am fully comfortable caring for up to three children at once and am happy to assist with meal preparation and light housekeeping. Because I am comfortable with pets, your furry family members will be in good hands, too. I hold current CPR Training and First Aid certifications. I believe in maintaining open communication through regular updates and am very comfortable upholding your established household rules. Whether we are playing board games or heading outside for physical activities, I love finding imaginative ways to keep children engaged. I truly look forward to becoming a positive, supportive presence in your children's lives.
Most recent review
We are incredibly pleased with Shannon's exceptional care for our 16-month old daughter. Shannon started watching her in the evenings when she was around 10 months old. She was very patient and caring as our little one made the adjustment to a new caretaker. Our daughter has blossomed under her care, eagerly picking up new words, playing, laughing, and engaging in all kinds of crafts and activities. Shannon is very reliable, always arrives early or on time, and communicates in advance about any changes to her schedule. She also gives our dog attention and is flexible and willing to support where needed. We are grateful for her help in making our evenings run much more smoothly! She has become an invaluable support for our family and we wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone needing child care.
