Hello, my name is Shanique. I'm a loving & passionate wife & mother of 3 . I grew up in a big family and have always had pets so im comfortable with being around them . For several years, I have volunteered at after school centers, helped out at summer camps , been a local babysitter in my community for years, and most recently a daycare teacher to infant's & toddlers and a part time travel event nanny. I enjoy caring for children and seniors. I have several years of experience in home care & worked in senior living communities. I would consider myself a natural caregiver at heart. I'm an active and fun-loving person with lots of exciting activities for kids of all ages. I am confident that I can provide your child with a positive, fun but safe environment.

Hired Shanique to watch my twins and she was fantastic. Natural with kids, totally at ease with two at once, and they were happy and calm when I got back. Zero hesitation recommending her.  Will definitely book again.

Shanique Was Great. She responds quick and came on last min notice. She did awesome with my baby girl. She cooks cleans and played with her. Kept her busy and I love that. I will be booking with her again. 

It was our first time leaving our son with someone outside of family. Shanique did a great job babysitting and kept us updated on how things were going the whole time. Would definitely trust her to do it again

Shanique was great with our twin toddlers. Our kids haven't had many caregivers, so it was stressful for the whole family - and she was very patient and kind. She has all the best qualities - timely, communicative, flexible & receptive. 

Shanique was a child care worker for Girls Empowerment Network for our Radiant G Conference. She was amazingly good with the kids, super sweet, and professional. We would love to have her at our next conference! 

She was great. She came on time. My son loved her and she had a sweet spirit. I will definitely hire here again when I'm in town. 

Shanique was on time, friendly, professional and accommodating to my child’s special needs. I will definitely call on her again. 

My kids absolutely loved her! We will definitely be using her services again. 

If you can’t make it because of an emergency, I totally get it. Some things are just out of our control.
Understanding is key, but being upfront is just as important. Here's the message she sent me, word for word:
“Yes, I know,  my husband is usually off around 2:30 pm, but sometimes his days fluctuate . Again, I send my deepest apologies for the inconvenience and you guy's lost on the tickets“

The key words here are “usually” and “sometimes”. So, she knows her husband’s schedule can vary, and she did NOT mention this during the interview or on her profile. 
It’s understandable that she waits for her husband to come home so he can watch her kids while so she can to work. 

But if I had known there was a chance her husband could come home late from work, I wouldn’t have selected her for that day. 

We were all set to go to dinner and concert we’ve been planning for months. We paid a lot of $$$ for the tickets and missed out all because someone wasn’t completely upfront.

She even confirmed the morning of. She was supposed to be home at 4pm and at 2:30pm she sent me that she could be late up to an hour or an hour and an half. At 4:03pm she texted me to say her husband still hadn’t arrived. 

Again, I am beyond disappointed. 


I'm very thankful that Shanique was able to help me in a crunch! She was able to be on time and help watch my 4-year-old so I could go to a meeting. I love having her as my emergency care helper!

Canceled at the last minute without letting me know. I could've made plans with another care giver. She seemed cool though.

Shanique was able to come and watch my 4-year-old on a day's notice.  She is dependable when I am in a crunch and my kiddo was well taken care of.

Shanique was not only great with our 8-year-old, but also with our two senior dogs. One of the dogs is in failing health and Shanique kept us updated on him throughout the night and went above and beyond to clean up accidents. That wasn't what she signed up for when we hired her and we are incredibly appreciative of her flexibility and understanding. She's a kind person and a professional when it comes to looking after your littles. Absolutely recommend. 

Shanique was great with my 2 little boys and kept them entertained and well cared for! We look forward to having her again.

Shanique was super professional and my son said she was really cool and he loved her! Will definitely be hiring her again.

Shanique is a 10/10 caretaker . Showed up early and was very attentive with my 6 month old daughter . She is a superb helping hand and I definitely will ask for her help again in the future 

Shanique was really great with our kids, especially our 7 year old autistic daughter who quickly gravitates to her. She is very dependable as her vehicle was down, but still made it on time and communicated as needed to us. 

She did a awesome job caring for my 8 month old and 5 yr old. She’s prompt, attentive towards the kids individual needs and sends unprompted updates on the kids. Overall, a pleasure and I will use her again.
