About Serenity

I'm the oldest sister of four, so I have been taking care of kids since I was 10 ! I continued babysitting throughout my teenage years for family and friends. In the past year, I have been working at behavior centers for children with autism which has helped me gained additional professional experience and skills with children who vary in age, personalities, and needs. My skills include: 1. I have patience with children for any circumstances. Children are still grasping their way around the world and learning how to do things that come natural to adults. Whether that's learning how to ride a bike or helping regulate their emotions. 2. I implement positive language into the way I speak. This helps children understand why we need to something and how they can express their emotions. 3. Communication is key to my work and personal life! It is important to me that I have strong communication with children so they feel supported and understand safety rules.
