About Sarah

For more than half my life I've been practicing the art and professional discipline of caregiving. I am a middle school teacher, previously a Montessori teacher. In addition to being an educator and mother, I have a nursing degree. I keep myself young at heart with a love for making art, exploring nature, playing math games, and staying curious. Children consistently rate me as "5 star fun," while my elder friends rely on me to help with activities of daily living. Easygoing yet responsible, I am trusted by many to provide support in more than one area. A background in veterinary care (yes, that too!) means I am almost fluent in canine/feline, and plant parents may find my green thumb of value as well. In summary, a family looking for an awesome extra adult on evenings and weekends will find me a great resource, as well as students needing academic support and lonely abodes needing a fine housesitter.
