About Sarah

Hi, I'm Sarah! I am a nature loving, nurturing, experienced childcare provider. I work as a PreK special education teacher, and am looking for a part or full time nanny position for the summer! I am a licensed teacher with a bachelors in early childhood education, as well as 6 years of experience providing childcare. I've worked professionally as a Prek special ed teacher, an infant/toddler teacher, and a nature based PreK teacher. I am licensed, background checked, and fingerprinted with the Maine DOE, and CPR + first aid certified. I've worked with all age groups, but have the most experience with ages 0-8. I love creating strong, trusting relationships with children, and encouraging them to express themselves, try new things, and be creative. I love implementing time in nature into the care I provide. I am passionate about social emotional learning, and love teaching kids how to cope with big emotions! I hope you will consider me as your next caregiver!
