About Robyn

I am a stay-at-home mother to a 3-year-old boy looking to care for your child in my home. We love to do crafts, play games, run around outside and work in our backyard garden. To give you a little background of my love for childcare, I should start with my first job. I began my love of teaching and nurturing children at the age of 16 when I took on my first 3-year-old preschool class. In the last few years, I have worked in a preschool in Michigan beginning in the infant/toddler room and then moved along with my toddlers all the way though preschool. The children that I worked with have absolutely changed my life. They became like my own. I loved nothing more than that big hug as they ran into my classroom in the morning and that sad goodbye as they left at the end of the day. I left my last preschool when I gave birth to my son. I have been blessed with the opportunity to be a stay-at-home mom and although it was hard to leave my babies at the daycare, this has been the best experience of my life. I would care for your children in the same way I care for mine. our kids will learn together in a natural way, playing matching games instead of looking at flash cards, learning to count and measure with cooking and playing we will spend as much time outside as possible and work on long-term art projects. My goal is for your children to feel at home, feel safe and loved and for everyday to be an adventure. My little family is moving to Seattle in August and I would love to begin our new life in Seattle with your family by my side.
