About Petra

Hello my name is Petra and I am an Early Childhood Educator, Nanny, and Children's Yoga Instructor with 16 years of experience. For the last 3 years, I have worked as a Resource Teacher at the prestigious National Child Research Center in Washington, DC, fostering inclusive, play-based learning and supporting young children's social-emotional growth. I also bring extensive private nanny experience, having cared for two children from infancy through age 7 when I lived with the family and also helped to run their household. I hold an Early Childhood Development degree and multiple yoga certifications, most notably my recent 95-hour Yoga & Wellness for Kids and Teens certification via the Diversity Reclaim Method which I was working on in Indoneisa during this amazing experience while I worked with children from a tribe on the island called Sumba. I integrate mindful movement, emotional regulation, and smooth household management to provide a warm, secure environment where children thrive
