About Penelope

Hi! I'm Penelope, and I'm 18 years old. I recently graduated high school and will be attending University this fall, where I plan to double major in journalism and political science. Throughout high school, I was involved in my school's newspaper, The WA Ghostwriter, and helped found our school's Philosophical Society, which focused on serving the community. I hope to continue pursuing journalism in college and eventually become a political journalist! While I wasn't able to commit to a regular babysitting job during high school due to a rigorous course load, including AP Spanish and AP European History, I am the oldest in my family and have years of experience caring for cousins of various ages. I have also taken on several one-time babysitting opportunities. In my free time, I enjoy reading, traveling, going to the gym, and spending time with friends and family. I also enjoy traveling, and as a native Spanish speaker, I am happy to speak or read to your child in Spanish!
