About Patricia

Words cannot begin to describe what Patricia means to our family. To say she is beloved is a vast understatement. Pati has been with our family for 3 wonderful years and treats our three kids (4, 2.5, and 1), like her own. She has been with us since my first was 1 and has seamlessly grown with us. She is kind, generous, organized, respectful, nurturing, and so intuitive to our kids’ needs. She has a teaching background and it comes through in everything she does. Pati is so helpful in so many ways and truly does everything she can to make our lives easier. She goes above and beyond her “responsibilities” on a near daily basis. For example, she takes initiative to do things like clean the car seats or the kids’ sneakers before I even think to do it, or she will proactively put aside clothes she thinks are too small for me to look at. She gently reminds or suggests when the kids are ready to go up a size in their clothes, or that she has noticed a certain type of shoe isn’t working well for one of them, or they could use something specific (for example: a bathing suit, a rain jacket, etc.). Pati makes our kids feel so special on a daily basis and on special occasions. This year, she brought my oldest a balloon on her birthday with the number “4” and a cute gift (and one for her sister and brother, so they wouldn’t be left out). These are the thoughtful details that make Pati so special. Pati is extremely hardworking and genuine. She has almost never missed a day of work and is very reliable. On the very rare occasion that she has had to miss work and knows ahead of time, she does her best to help us coordinate a “substitute” she knows and trusts, and we now call those nannies friends as well. She is so respectful of our parenting choices but also offers the perfect balance of helpful observations she has gained from all her experience. She knows all of the activities and fun places to bring the kids that are appropriate for their ages. She makes every day fun and she always comes to the house with a positive attitude and true love for our kids. I cannot say enough good things about her. We will miss her so much. The only reason she is searching for a new family is because I am stepping back from work. I don’t know what I am going to do without her!
