About Olivia

I like working with kids because children fascinate me. I love how they view reality and learn to live in the world around them. I feel that I have so much to learn from children, and I love getting to know who they are. I started working with kids as a mommy's helper and babysitter in my early teens. Then, I began working with children in church nurseries and Sunday school. I also volunteered in a kindergarten classroom for a year to gain formal classroom experience. I also had the privilege of tutoring Italian speaking children in the English language. In my spare time, I like to many different things, as I have a constant desire to learn new subjects and tasks. I am trained in classical piano, and enjoy playing Chopin and Debussy. I also love languages, and am fluent in Italian and conversationally proficient in Mandarin. I also greatly enjoy cooking authentic Italian food, as well as baking. I also enjoy nature walks, the beach, crafting, and learning about new cultures.
