Hello! I have a masters and PhD in clinical and developmental psychology and have a passion for caring for children, including those with any type of special needs or disabilities. I have cared for children 0-13 years of age and always enjoy incorporating my education into the interactions I have with the children I care for so that what we do together is fun but also developmentally helpful! In regards to my experience with special needs, I have cared for children with a variey of disabilities such as ASD, ADHD, speech and language disorders, ceberal palsy and low muscle tone. I also have strong training in a variety of developmental approaches and modalities. I am looking to return to providing care in home as a way to get back to the aspects of working with children that truly bring me joy.
