About Nina

About: I've worked with children all my life as a credentialed teacher and tutor, also taught piano and voice all over Southern California, so I have character references from these families. Maybe one of them is your neighbor :) I've raised two children, boy and girl, now in their twenties. I feel my experiences as a teacher and mother, as well as babysitting earlier in life, give me the necessary experience for the job. Every child wants to feel heard, accepted, supported, and cared for in a compassionate, empathetic way. These are important values to me. I'm looking for a meaningful part-time position, to have a positive impact on people/kidlets while pursuing my career as an author. I love being a mother, and I've gained invaluable wisdom having already gone through the gamut. I offer maturity, reliability, and responsibility. No phone screen.
