I enjoy working with seniors, have had experience in the past with dementia while working as an activities assistant and Brandel Manor for two and half years. I spent 20+ years working around the world at different US Embassies and raising two boys. I have also worked as a personal assistant/companion. Though she was not a senior, she had a brain injury that resulted in similar circumstances to someone that has dementia. I ensured her safety at all times. I assisted her with dog care, personal hygiene, attending appointments, balancing finances, exercise, daily chores and shopping. I also assisted her with meal prep x3 a day and medication prompting and preparation.
