About Nashmia

This is my first time using Care. com, nice to meet you! I have a BA in Cognitive Behavioral Neuroscience and a Master of Public Health. I have experience caring for children from 3 months to 16 years old, as well as supporting individuals with autism spectrum disorder and other developmental disorders. My experience includes babysitting for multiple families, infant care (feeding, diapering, sleep training, play), working in a nursery, supporting students in a Special Education classroom, and working at a child development camp. I've worked closely with individuals on the autism spectrum, helping create structured routines, assist with daily living activities, encourage independence, and provide patient, individualized support. I'm reliable, patient, and proactive, and I strive to create a safe, engaging, and fun environment. Whether providing childcare or caregiving, I'm happy to help with learning activities, transportation, and building routines that help individuals thrive.
