About Misty

Hello, my name is Misty . :) I am a veteran, public, elementary school teacher of 25 years. It has been a pleasure working with so many children and families within the school system to help care for, teach, guide, and love children. I would like to continue my journey of caring for, teaching, guiding, and loving children within my own community. I'd describe my personality as CHEERFUL, LOVING, and PATIENT. I like working with kids because they are 100% authentic and we can truly learn from each other. I'm looking for a job that will be consistent, fulfilling, and leave me with a sense of accomplishment. I started working with kids professionally, immediately upon my college graduation- 25 years. In my spare time, I like to read, exercise, watch movies, and most importantly spend quality time with my family and friends. I feel self-care is vital. One thing you should know about me is I am a Christian. My skills include patience, compassion, and decision-making.
