About Mikayla

Hi! My name is Mikayla, and I'm a nursing student with 7+ years of childcare experience caring for children of all ages, from infants to school-aged kids. I started working with children at 16 and have always loved creating a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where children feel supported and valued. I'm CPR/BLS certified and have experience working with children with autism, understanding the importance of patience and individualized care. I would describe myself as patient, nurturing, and compassionate. My background as an assistant teacher and my goal of becoming a pediatric nurse have strengthened my passion for caring for children. I enjoy helping with homework, meal prep, crafts, activities, and daily routines while providing dependable care families can trust. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, swimming, staying active, and doing arts and crafts. I'm excited to support families and provide loving, reliable care for their children.
