About Michaela

I earned my Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education from Oakland Community College and have over seven years of nannying and childcare experience working with children of all ages, from newborns to pre-teens. My passion for childcare began as the oldest of three siblings, where I naturally took on a caregiving role. As I gained experience, families in my community trusted me to care for their children, allowing me to build strong relationships with both children and parents. I've worked in both in-home daycare and licensed childcare centers, gaining hands-on experience in child development and creating engaging, age-appropriate activities. I am passionate about providing a safe, nurturing environment where children feel loved, supported, and encouraged to learn, grow, build confidence, and enjoy being kids.
