About Micaela

I have always felt a calling to work with and support children, even when I was young. I started with volunteer work at Most Holy Trinity Church's summer camp program when I was 12 and worked every summer until I was 17 with ages pre-k to 5th grade. I also grew up in a big family with lots of younger cousins and have lifelong experience caring for infants. I started my paid work in the last two years working with a pre- teen age member who has cerebral palsy, but I'm trained to work with children who have autism, down's syndrome, and other cognitive, mental, and physical disabilities as well. I love working with kids because I feel they have a special way of reminding us to slow down and appreciate the small joys of life. I look forward to supporting you and your child in a way that best suits everyone's needs.
