Any family looking for a full-time nanny would be incredibly fortunate to have Merlyn.  She has worked with my family for several years and is by far the most loving, patient and responsible caregiver I have ever hired. I recommend her wholeheartedly and without reservation. 

Merlyn was the best caregiver we could have ever asked for. If we could hire her again, we would. Our daughter transitioned to pre-school and unfortunately we had to part ways with Merlyn, however we are so lucky for the years she provided care for our daughter. Being first time parents, at first we were extremely nervous and apprehensive about hiring a nanny but upon meeting Merlyn, our worries melted away. The years she spent with our now almost four year old toddler were irreplaceable. Her level of care, attentiveness, and responsibility was unmatched. She was constantly going above and beyond for our daughter and did a lot more even outside of her job description to make things easier for us. She made sure to keep our daughter engaged on a constant basis - there was no screen time at all. She made sure our kid was learning on a daily basis and doing activities regularly that stimulated her brain and motor skills. Merlyn has an exceptional, well-developed understanding of the needs and abilities of children and her warm, nurturing nature made our daughter as comfortable with her as she is with us. Merlyn was happy to pitch in and help with laundry, grocery shopping for Alayna, and cleaning her play area on a consistent basis. If you are looking for someone with warm energy and a sense of integrity and professionalism, make sure to hire Merlyn right away. It was the best decision we ever made for our daughter.

Merlyn is a dream nanny.  She is fabulous with children, extremely responsible, and a wonderful person.  When another reviewer called her Merlyn Poppins, it could not be more true!  She is very knowledgeable on child rearing, creative, kind, patient, and knows just how to keep my baby and toddler happy all day long!  She is a great communicator and always keeps my husband and I in the loop with everything.  Merlyn has worked with us part time, but when she received a job offer from another family for a full time position, we were heartbroken and could not bare to see her go.  We offered her a full time position as well, and are so happy that she will be staying with us and our children can continue the special bond they have formed with her.

Merlyn was supposed to start a full time position for us next week.  In the midst of a move I received a call that she cannot work for us anymore.  I have two toddlers, am pregnant, supposed to be starting a full time job the day she was supposed to start, moving and now need to find someone in a week.  I am glad I found out now how irresponsible, unreliable and untrustworthy she is.  I cannot believe someone in this profession would commit to someone and back out a week before.

Merlyn is wonderful!  We spent weeks looking for someone to care for our two small children and were incredibly lucky to find her.  She is dependable, caring, thoughtful and looks after our kids as if they were her own.

Merlyn is currently caring for our 2-year old daughter. Unfortunately, we have to say good-bye to her starting September when our daughter starts attending daycare. I can not say enough great things about Merlyn. She is our own Merlyn Poppins! Merlyn is highly professional in everything she does. She is always in time and gives an advance notice if there is ever a reason for her to come late or leave early. She is incredibly patient and genuinely enjoys being around children and kids lover her back. Merlyn is highly intuitive. I don't have to ask her something twice. She understands the needs of the family and quickly adapts to them; in fact, I have learned so many things from her including potty training, sleep training, pacifier weaning and more. Above all, Merlyn is a person of high integrity, and is very reliable. She has become a member of our family and a great friend. Any family that hires her will be pleased and happy with her diligent work, kindness and care. 

I cannot recommend Merlyn enough!  She is so very caring, resourceful, and patient with children.  She is the sole reason I was able to return to work when my daughter refused to take a bottle at 5 months old!  I am so grateful that she was able to care for my children!

Merlyn is incredibly knowledgeable, caring, nurturing and reliable. I was always comforted knowing my daughter was in her care. I highly recommend Merlyn for a job working with children.
