Hi families! I just finished my sophomore year of undergrad at the COW&M in Virginia, where I study Elementary Education and English. My coursework in ElemEd has provided me with ample knowledge of child development at all ages. Aside from coursework alone, I have experience with children from six months through middle school in camps, nurseries, babysitting gigs, and a full time nanny position last summer. Some of my favorite things to do with kids are take them to libraries/bookstores, go to the park, do arts and crafts, and sing and dance to music. Meredith was the most amazing support our family could have asked for in the three weeks following my surgery. She took my children to school, picked them up, and cared for them while I recovered. She was fantastic with my girls (ages 5 and 7), who grew very fond of her. In addition to childcare, she helped run errands and managed other tasks to keep our household running smoothly. I can’t recommend her highly enough. It’s also wonderful to know she’s pursuing elementary education.
