Melody is so amazing! My daughter absolutely loves when she comes!! 

Mel was our nanny every Friday for nearly a year for my twins - starting at 4 months. I could not have found a better person!!! She was always on time and always so kind and gentle with my girls. Twins are a challenge and she had experience with twin families prior to us and it showed and helped us so much! As a first time mom, the peace of mind we had every Friday was priceless. Melody is a wonderful caregiver and you would be lucky to have her!

Mel is a dependable and trustworthy babysitter. My son lights up when she arrives. She has years and years of experience. I feel completely comfortable with her in our home caring for our son! She is also great with our dog!

Melody was amazing with our 7-month-old daughter! We live in New York but were staying in Peddler's Village for two nights for a wedding, and Melody watched our daughter both nights. She was warm, competent, and very easy to work with. Our baby is breastfed and has only occasionally been given bottles at bedtime (normally she's nursed to sleep) so we were nervous about how she would be with Melody at night, but not only did Melody get her to sleep with no problems, she fell asleep on Melody's shoulder and went to bed 15 minutes early! Melody was also very familiar with the area and knew that in addition to a nearby children's carousel, there was a tiny baby carousel too - she took our daughter on it and the baby loved it! She was also a good communicator (by phone and text) and was punctual and professional. I have nothing but good things to say about Melody and would highly recommend her to anyone needing care for their kids.

Mel is great!  She watched our twin sons from the time they were 3 months old.  She is very attentive, patient, and loving.  She is also great with our two dogs.  Mel is extremely dependable and trustworthy.  I never worried when the boys were under her care!  She is helpful and always there when we needed her.

Melody was always able to help while I traveled and was very flexible even on my short notice requests.  I would absolutely hire her again!

Mel is an amazing childcare provider and a part of our family. She watched our baby when she was just 12 weeks old. She also helped watch our school age children when they were home. Mel is punctual and always pleasant. She likes to help around the house and help us in any way she can. She is truly a pleasure to have and we are so lucky to have had her. 

Melody was amazing with my 5 month old son. It was such a relief to have her as our baby sitter. I could go to work without worrying about my son at all. He absolutely loved her and didn't even cry when I left for work! She played with him, sang to him, read books to him, rocked him to sleep, took him for walks, fed him and took care of every need of his. Mel also helped me with baby's laundry and food prep. She was the best nanny I could hope for, we miss her!

Melody started watching my daughter when she was a little over two months old. Even though this is my second child, I was extremely hesitant to leave her with anybody but, since we don't have family in the area, I had to find a nanny, I interviewed almost a dozen nannies and during the interview process Melody was the only person that I interviewed  that asked if she could hold my baby while we were talking. That really stood out to me as I knew at that moment, she was really going to be there for my baby. At that point, I knew I was going to hire her to be a part of our family. My daughter is 5 months now and very active.....she doesn't sleep that much so Melody has to keep her entertained almost all day (with no down time) but, Melody does a great job stimulating her with a variety of activities. Melody also takes her for a walk everyday to make sure she gets fresh air. For nap time, sometimes Melody has to spend over an hour rocking her to get her to sleep but she knows how important it is for me that my child naps so she has no problem accommodating my daughter's needs. Everyday when she gets to our house, my baby gets a smile on her face when she sees Melody , that is what makes it easier for me to leave her and go to work; I know she loves Melody and is happy to see her everyday. I also have an older daughter (she is five) and Melody has watched her on days that she is not feeling well and cant go to school and, has also watched both girls on occasion when we need a night out. My five year old is very picky about who she likes and she also loves Miss Melody. Melody paints her nails, reads her stories, plays games with her (and let her win!!) puts her to bed and recently has been getting her dressed, fed and puts her on and off the school bus each day which is even difficult for me to do sometimes. I would not hesitate to recommend Melody to be part of your family. Aside from her natural ability to take care of my children, she is reliable, punctual, willing to be flexible and offers to help in any way that she can. She always has a smile on her face even after a long day with a baby that hasn't napped and, never rushes out when I get home which is nice as it allows me some time to decompress from my day. She also keeps a journal (each day) and writes down exactly what my baby had for lunch, bottles, nap time, diaper changes , etc. which helps me tremendously. During the day, she will also text updates to me so I know how the baby is doing; sometimes, she even sends a cute picture:) If Melody gets lucky and the baby actually naps, Melody spends her time doing the baby's laundry, washing dishes, sterilizing bottles, making formula, etc. I cant say enough positive words about Melody. Any family would be lucky to have her. Even when Melody is not with us everyday, she will still be a part of our family and, we still plan on having her watch the kids on a regular basis as my family has formed a bond with her.

Mel was a blessing to our family! She helped us through a difficult time with discretion.  We hired her as a Nanny and she handled that job as well a variety of other responsibilities with ease and grace.

In her role as Nanny she got the children (boy 13 and girl 10) up and ready for each day, making sure they got through their morning routines and saw them off to school. Upon their return, she made sure they arrived home safely, were fed a healthy snack and completed their homework. After that she shuttled these two busy children to a variety of appointments and/or activities (orthodontist, CCD, sports practice, etc.).  During down times she kept them entertained with a variety of activities including, the playground, the park, bike rides, board games, etc. Overall, she kept them in order, implementing the disciplinary rules of our household with warmth and love.

In addition, Mel also helped with light housecleaning, cooking and grocery shopping. She is very organized and helped impart organization to our children.

Our working agreement included a great deal of flexibility. There were times when she worked some very late hours for us. In turn, I let her leave early on occasion.  Her willingness to be adaptable was invaluable to us.

I trust Mel and am happy to now her call her a friend.

Melody is a wonderful person who I have known for many years.  She is a single mom who raised her two boys. Her sons are very kind and polite young men.  Melody is very dependable and fun.  I know from her past experiences that she has kept in touch with not only the mom, but the children still call her and she does stuff with them.

I can't say enough nice things about Melody! She's took care of my son from 6 to 14 months and has become not only a nanny, but a great friend. She was amazing with my son and took such great care of him. Without asking, she cleaned, washed bottles, and did laundry. This woman never sat down! Mel always went above and beyond, even walking the dog! The only reason she stopped watching my son is because we moved pretty far away. I love Mel and anyone would be lucky to have her as a nanny!
