About Melissa

Sept. 5, 2013 I am writing on behalf of Melissa. Let me assure you that you would be hard-pressed to find a better candidate for employment. Missy is highly motivated to learn as much as she can and perform to her best capability. In the fourteen months I've known Missy, she has truly demonstrated superior organizational ability. She began watching my employers' six year old daughter and she took on more responsibility by overseeing their second residence. She has been a staple at their second home ever since. She frequently put in long hours depending on the needs of my employer's family. Of Missy's strengths--and there are many--her greatest is her flexibility. She can just as easily entertain their daughter (now age 8), do clean up and arrange for a delivery. She devotes her full attention to her job with a keen ability to juggle tasks. She also always seemed genuinely interested in their daughter's development and presented new ways of learning that captured her attention. While I could speak volumes about Missy from both a personal and professional level, she would definitely be a valuable employee to any household. Over the course of her employment with us she supervised contractors, maintained a safe and secure home, oversaw the moving of an entire household, accepted and accomplished special assignments by our employers, looked after guests, set up large parties and attended to every detail including hiring catering staff, flowers and clean up. She did extensive shopping and errands for all household requirements, did the majority of cleaning for a 7,000 sq foot condominium, attended to repairs, appliance servicing, wine ordering, household laundry/dry cleaning, pet needs, car maintenance and maintained inventory records. She even traveled to Europe with the family as their nanny. In summary, Missy displayed the qualities that make a nanny and house manager successful. She is very reliable, trustworthy, motivated, and in tune with the requirements of a family and children. Once again, I highly recommend her for a position in your home.
