About Melany

Making a positive difference in someone's life is my goal as a caregiver. My passion for supporting the well-being and independence of adults and seniors stems from fulfilling experiences in previous care roles, including working with veterans. I have three years of experience providing services such as respite care, live-in home care, and hospice support. I can also assist with errands, shopping, light housekeeping, meal preparation, and medical management. I'm patient, calm, compassionate, and friendly. I'm skilled at adapting to changing routines, de-escalating stressful situations, and handling confusion. I communicate with families through verbal updates and regular texts or calls, always following their preferred method. Creating a comfortable environment is important to me. I am CPR and First Aid certified. I have some college education and speak English and Spanish.
