Hi, I'm Megan! I am passionate about working with kids and helping them to grow and learn. I love being outside, staying active, doing arts and crafts, and reading. I am patient, caring, and energetic. I was an in classroom teacher for five years (first and fourth grade) and now work as a TK-8 homeschool teacher at a charter school. I have a CPR and First Aid cert., a bachelors degree in elementary education, and a teaching credential. Beyond my experience as a teacher, I have also worked as a babysitter/nanny for 10+ years. I have experience with newborns, toddlers, and elementary age children. I also occasionally take on work as a private tutor. I am primarily looking for babysitting jobs for summer time and other breaks when I am off from teaching. I also am open to date-night sitting.

Grateful to have found Megan! She looked after our 8-month old whilst we went on our first date night and was super attentive and engaging with him. I was nervous having never left our little one before but felt as ease soon as I met Megan - some people just have a really great vibe about them. We'll definitely be hiring Megan again.
