About Maya

Hello! I have always had a deep passion for empowering and educating young minds. Since becoming a mother, that passion has naturally extended to family and parent education as well. My caregiving journey began as a teenager, volunteering at my school and place of worship. I continued caring for children throughout college before pursuing a career as a teacher. As a music specialist, I loved using music as a unique medium to help students master emotional regulation and leverage their natural musical inclinations to grasp and remember fundamental academic concepts. Now, I am excited to transition back into being a nanny and homemaker. I am also a mother to a sweet, inspiring baby girl who will make a wonderful playmate and a joyful addition to any family I have the privilege of serving. I look forward to partnering with parents to create a nurturing, enriching, and harmonious home environment for your children.
